Michael and his team just recently completed the removal of three cedar trees for me. He was very responsive when I requested the estimate, coming in a lot cheaper than others who quoted. When I reached out to schedule the removal, he was very prompt in setting up the removal and was prompt and quick with the removal of the three trees. He even chipped all of the debris and trees for me, placing the chips in the location I selected as mulch for later use!! Thompson’s Tree Service, LLC has done a lot of tree work in our neighborhood. When we needed a tree down ASAP between our house and our detached garage, a neighbor contacted Michael to see if he had time to come for an estimate. He showed up the next day at 9:30 a.m., calmed any of my concerns by guaranteeing he wasn’t concerned and was sure the tree would be taken down without any issue. He determined other branches that needed to be trimmed back before we got a new roof, too. He scheduled for the following Monday. He was communicative about his arrival time, his team worked thoughtfully and swiftly, and they did it all for a fair price. One of his guys was even fully prepared to talk to my daughter about how he saw her tooth fairy safely move to a new tree since that was her 6-year-old concern. Haha. Thompson’s Tree Service, LLC delivered all that was promised and we highly recommend them.

They were very responsive and came out to give me a quote the same day, worked with my budget to give me a fair price and scheduled the job for within a week. Very fast and friendly service. I called to get a quote to get a large tree removed that was leaning towards the house and Michael located another one that I didn’t realize was also a danger because it was hollow and next to the house. They were both gone within the week. The price was very reasonable and I’m keeping their business card in case I have any more trees that need work in the future.
This service came out and took down a large pear tree and cut back two others. They had a good crew with lots of equipment. The job was done quickly and professionally. Everything was cleaned up and the yard looks better than when they came. Mike is easy to work with and does what he says. Would highly recommend and will use again if the need comes up.

Best prices in town by far. They even took an additional tree down that was hanging over my house no charge. I was kinda crunched on time because of a storm that was coming in later in the day and the tree was very dangerous; they also knew this and made sure to get the job done before the storm. This is truly a business that cares about the costumer not just making the most off of the job.

Thompson’s Tree Service, LLC is on the job. They arrived around 8:30 with Mike, plus the shredder truck, a truck pulling the man lift, and… maybe one other? We walked through the job again and then they blitzed it. Excellent work done quickly. And they worked beyond the letter of the job – the crew went beyond what was required to make sure the job was just right. I’ll use them again. Mike is a veteran and is well trained in arboriculture. The guy knows his stuff. I’ll use them again when the need arises.
Fantastic tree removal service! They removed multiple dead and dying trees and trimmed up a few branches over our camper. I was happy that Michael and his team were able to work around the existing obstacles in our yard. They were very thorough with the cleanup as well. Michael took the time to show me what to look for in a dying tree in the future and how to help protect and save other trees that don’t need to come down.

I can’t say enough good things about this company. Things that normal contractors take for granted but I have come to appreciate: They answer the phone. They got to my house 10 minutes before he told me he would be there (that’s on time for those of you who don’t know better). They did an amazing job. Here’s the best part: they were 66% cheaper than the other two estimates I got!!! From start to finish I had an amazing experience, and I know for a fact my neighbor used them at his lake house as well. This is my tree company…period.
I have a better understanding than most homeowners when it comes to falling trees. I have the equipment to cut and to move just about anything I cut down. While cutting down our poplar tree, Thompson’s Tree Service, LLC discovered a beehive high up in our tree. They were quick to communicate the reason for the delay and recommend a solution. They worked with us to remove the hive without harming the bees or anyone working on cleaning up the tree.
